Must and Should Be the Will to Stand Firm Regardless of the Outcome!

A young man that married the women of his every dream, even accepting her family as it was, would sometimes find himself on the loosing side of disagreements. When it would come time for him to take what he thought was the correct stance in the discussion, it seemed as though he was out of touch and did not understand and that he should have taken a different approach.

But, being raised by both his father and mother who allowed him to see some things differently from others, (this is not to say single parenting leaves one void of such or better insight) he begin to talk to his God asking him for the courage and wisdom to be able to judge fair and firm, without disrupting his family.

A few days after an argument with his wife, the man’s grandmother happen to visit and said, “Son, I see those kids have grown, so I suppose your authority of knowledge are being tested.” Amazed, he looked at her. She then said, “When God gifts a man with a wife it’s also because down the path of life two different opinions are needed in disagreement to be able to come to the right agreement for handling a certain situation at hand. When one has searched deep down in the core of his or her soul and fairly believes that the right decision has been made, there must and should be the will to stand firm regardless of the outcome!

Story inspired by: Today’s so-called “coming into perfect knowledge of the meaning of life upon arrival at the age of eighteen” is the result of the weakening of the bond between both parents.
