The question was asked of a wise man; what makes some people do are give audience to things/those that ruin/disrespect/destroy them? His answer was; "all that have breath wither, they be wealthy or poor has inside of themselves this urge to feel good (which is really joy), even when they are without the knowledge of how this is ONLY attainable through God by way of His Son Jesus Christ." He also explained that the urge can never be eliminated nor remedied by (plural) things/persons from the outside, but is only possible by a inner singular entity named Joy.
