Lock out.

After pulling up in my SUV across from a area an space that only six weeks ago I was supervising an instructing young children in fitness/boxing and educational awareness, which now has a chain and pad lock denying us entrance, Five year old Farrell calling out my name and asking me to open the gate so him and all the others who are now finding their place for playing, is in the city street. The area and empty lot has been rented out for parking doing the time as we had liberty for it's usage, the bad thing about that is; there are no cars in it. After getting ready to leave from the area, looking through my rear view mirror and noticing this five year old along side of her bike laying on the ground and her staring at me with her eyes radiating the wonder of why is this. I have for years fought against exactly what is now happening to these and so many other inner city kids; being locked out.

Take your proper place.

We who truly love our kids need to get off of this deceptive wagon of just trying to be their friend instead of their parent, and stand in our place of authority (which encases the power of both; parent and friend) and allows us to do and say what's necessary for their structuring, even when it may cause hurting their feeling for ten minutes (which can prevent hurting for ten years)! It is entirely impossible for there to be a war won where there is not a General/Generals leading soldiers that face war.

What would make any one that have the capacity for having all five senses engage them selves in any thing they could compare to as crossing over a path full of land mines by chance because of having small feet?



Those that willing turn down advice for curvature toward reckless and non-productive path choosing for reason of desire or selfishness, are destined for life's explosions, ( The question was; who in there right mind).

A lazy male/female sleeps doing the early morning an up into the evening, and doing the evening they wonder in dry places.

The planting of seed on good ground is done in the early mornings when the soil is damp, when the evening sun is at it's highest peek, it burns or drys out exposed top soil.

No excuse for giving up/quiting.

I share this short glance of my life's traveled path of past and cur'rent-ness with those of you who are on the verge of giving up/quiting for what ever reason. Been raised in the early fifties and haven to deal with the injustices targeted toward African Americans (black people) and on occasion some Caucasians ( white people). while growing up and living in a two bed room rented apartment with out bath room and running water inside (toilet and sink), shared with two Christan parents, four siblings. We went to school with the bare necessities. I can remember as if it were today my mom being told after her paying the fare; to bring that N word (Nigger) to the back of the bus. when the African American kids (black) would try to go and see parades on Canal St., we were met by very racist policeman that at times would let their dogs chase us, there was forceful denial for enrollment in certain public schools because of one's cultural back ground (skin color). I've been working since a early age up unto current time and have experience race discrimination in wage on jobs even while performing the same duties as my counter partners (Caucasians/whites). I was also fired from a job I gave twenty plus years of sweat and loyalty to by a racist Foreman and a young think alike (young white supervisor). Even after my experiencing those difficulties (and some still today!) I still manage to finish high school, welding school and some college. I've been blessed to meet and shake hands with two United States Presidents (George Bush Sr, Bill Clinton), I was also privileged to visit on Air Force One (no I didn't not steal the silver) lol!! I am currently employed, I'm also a professional /amateur boxing coach. God has blessed me with a great wife and family (grand kids, dog and cat)lol!! Yes, by the way; We own our house and the bath room and running water is now inside. So I say to you; there is no excuse for giving up/quiting. God Bless!!
